Creating ingame relations, common understanding of the group

The exercise should be applied after the players have some sense of their character. Ask the players to walk around the room as their character and instruct them to say hello to each other dependent on different factors. For example: “say hello to the person who stood before you in the food-line” or “say hello to a person, whom you do not respect”.

The exercise ends when the facilitator runs out of ideas.

Stand in a circle and start the exercise by one person shaking the hand of the person to her left, with a certain intention or feeling. The reciever sends the hello! along untill it reaches the initiator. Use the exercise to allow the players to express emotions as love, fear, hate and so on.
